Updates to employee information in Workday flow into AccuSchedule. If a worker has scheduled time-off, AccuSchedule knows and won’t include that worker in a conflicting shift. If a worker is moved to a different Workday group, AccuSchedule knows. In short, managers don’t have to remember all the employee status changes that impact scheduling. Managers are alerted to schedule changes requested through the web application. They can then quickly approve or deny the change. Everyone saves time. Workers don’t need to find the manager to ask. The manager doesn’t need to take time to check the impact the request will have on the schedule. Workers can even connect directly to swap shifts. Managers no longer have to track down an available and willing replacement.
Workers can also submit time-off requests through the AccuSchedule app or at the terminal. Another task AccuSchedule takes off the managers’ to-do list.
